- Proactively engage with all levels of management regarding interacting with their direct reports and communicating effectively
- Support leaders to build talent strategies for teams and individuals ensuring consistent practice around development and performance
- Work with leaders to execute talent strategy including goal setting, performance appraisals, talent reviews, and succession planning
- Apply leadership principles to help leaders execute business plans
- Assist with organizational design and change management plans
- Consult with Organizational Development to share key gaps and to help drive learning opportunities
- Guides leaders in addressing performance concerns, managing team dynamics, and handling interpersonal conflict
- Make recommendations on leadership challenges and consult on appropriate documentation and follow-up
- Drive and deploy programs that maintain a healthy workplace culture
- Work closely with Associate Relations to identify themes and trends across the enterprise.
- Build strong and effective relationships with critical stakeholders and peers to share information, influence change, and leverage resources to deliver results. i.e.: Associate Relations, HR Business Partners, Legal, Benefits, LOA, HR Operations, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Psychology, Industrial Relations or a related field, additional years of experience considered in lieu of degree
- 5 – 7 years of HR or business experience with 3 - 5 years in client facing HR role and/or people management experience, including performance management experience
- Effectively able to work in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment
- Consultative skills/mindset and ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across varied stakeholder audiences including organizational leaders
- Experience working with managers on associate relationship issues, retention and associate engagement, talent assessments, and performance management
- Retail Industry Experience/Retail Environment preferred
- Experience in coaching people leaders
- Experience facilitating team effectiveness, talent assessment sessions
