
Entry Level Engineering Technician

- Assemble and test mechanical and electrical systems according to established specifications.
- Identify and report issues in product construction or operation.
- Support engineering teams in problem-solving and process improvement efforts.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of product builds—from assembly to testing.
- Contribute to pilot production and transition to volume manufacturing.
- Develop and improve Technical Product Data (TPD), documentation, and procedures.
- Evaluate new procedures and suggest product or process enhancements.
- Share knowledge of systems, sub-modules, and modifications with team members.
- Coordinate production activities and monitor tools, materials, and equipment usage.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and mechanical/electrical assembly.
- Experience with lean manufacturing, kaizen, and process improvement.
- Skilled in testing, prototyping, troubleshooting, and use of hand tools.
- Ability to interpret schematics and operate test equipment.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with production documentation.
- AS or BS in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Chemical, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting.
- Lean Manufacturing training (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical skills.
- Cleanroom environmentwith strict safety and cleanliness protocols.
- Training:Typically conducted on 1st or 2nd Shift for 4–6 weeks.
- Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 6AM-2:30PM
- 2nd Shift: 3 PM – 11 PM (Monday–Friday) | 10% shift differential.
- Compressed Work Week (CWW) Nights:
- N1:Week 1: Sun–Tue | Week 2: Sun–Wed (6 PM – 6 AM) | 15% shift differential.
- N2:Week 1: Wed–Sat | Week 2: Wed–Sat + every other Wed (6 PM – 6 AM) | 15% shift differential.
