- Manage and service assigned accounts following agency best practices.
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Assist with marketing and placement of new business and renewal accounts.
- Achieve sales and retention goals by identifying opportunities for account rounding and up-selling.
- Conduct annual policy reviews to ensure clients have appropriate coverage.
- Maintain organized and accurate client files, including processing policies, endorsements, invoices, and binders.
- Oversee renewal expiration lists, binders, and aged receivables.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to underwriting requirements.
- Prepare billing statements in accordance with credit and collection policies.
- Verify the accuracy of all processed transactions and policy changes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, underwriting requirements, and carrier updates.
- Participate in continuing education courses for insurance and sales skills development.
- Keep current with industry regulations and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
- Engage in special projects as requested by management.
- Two-year associate degree required; four-year college degree preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Pro, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and phone systems.
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Desire to develop and maintain a deep knowledge of insurance industry products and best practices.
- High level of self-motivation, initiative, and ability to work independently.
- Familiarity with brokerage operations, claims handling, risk assessment, and applicable insurance laws.
