This role will be part of the exciting new Digital customer team. This is a highly innovative team situated in our own newly remodeled Digital Customer Innovation Center in beautiful Blue Ash, Ohio. The team consists of Mobile, eCommerce and Customer facing site solutions that will provide customers with a world-class digital and mobile shopping experience. We are looking for an individual with a passion for being part of an Agile development team, participating in all aspect of the software development lifecycle, focusing on making the team more efficient and productive through quality software best practices. As an SDET, you will be given the opportunity to create software, as well as design/build/maintain test automation and have a direct and meaningful impact on the quality of the Digital platform.Key Responsibilities:
Own and lead test strategy, planning, and execution for assigned product areas within an Agile scrum team.
Design and implement test automation frameworks for large datasets using SQL, Python, and Informatica MDM.
Establish testing strategies for back-end development teams with a focus on retail POS and sales data domains.
Participate in product design reviews to assess functional requirements, testability, and effort estimates.
Analyze and decompose complex software systems; collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve architecture and testability.
Translate user stories and requirements into comprehensive test cases and automation scripts.
Debug applications using logs, stack traces, and test results; monitor systems under test continuously.
Partner with development teams on root cause analysis and implement preventative automation solutions.
Drive adoption of best practices in code health, maintainability, and testing.
Stay current with emerging testing tools, trends, and methodologies, integrating them into the QA process.
Promote a shift-left approach to quality, advocating for early and continuous testing.Qualifications Required:
Proven experience as a Senior SDET or Senior QA Engineer in Agile development environments.
Expertise in test automation for large datasets using SQL, Python, and Informatica MDM.
Experience with Databricks for data processing and analysis
Expertise in Data testing using cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Background in retail systems, specifically POS and sales data.
6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing environment
5+ years of experience developing and executing automated test scripts
5+ years of experience working with automated test frameworks and test runners
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a root cause analysis mindset.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Preferred:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps testing practices.
Familiarity with microservices and API testing.
Experience with performance and load testing tools like NeoLoad, Jmeter.Note to Vendors:

Experience in establishing Testing Strategy for Back-end development teams.
