- Develop and execute marketing campaigns that highlight premium seafood and specialty products.
- Manage and grow the company’s social media presence with consistent, engaging content.
- Maintain alignment with brand standards across all customer touchpoints.
- Track engagement metrics and share insights to improve outreach efforts.
- Strengthen customer relationships by providing product information, resolving service/delivery concerns, and ensuring professional, timely follow-up.
- Proactively reach out to customers and prospects to introduce products, cross-sell, and support new business growth.
- Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and orders for both wholesale and retail divisions (including efcmarket.com and in-store support during peak periods).
- Document account activities, customer interactions, and issues through the CRM system.
- Accurately process sales orders from multiple channels (direct sales, call-outs, online platforms, retail market).
- Conduct daily order calls, communicate proactively about shortages or product changes, and offer viable solutions.
- Support outside sales reps by managing calls, covering vacation accounts, and coordinating sample requests with vendors and brokers.
- Participate in sales initiatives, including Focus 5 monthly promotions and cold call lead generation.
- Work closely with the Director of Sales Operations, Purchasing Team, and company leadership on product targets, pre-orders, and purchasing coordination.
- Support vendor programs, VPOS reporting, and internal communication of new product placements or issues.
- Assist with seasonal promotions, clambakes, holiday programs, and market pricing support.
- Participate in ongoing training across all departments to build product knowledge (fresh, wild, farmed, sustainable, center-of-the-plate, frozen, dry, specialty).
- Stay informed on industry trends through email updates and publications.
- Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork, contributing to a positive and collaborative workplace.
- Support regional sales readiness initiatives when called upon.
- Customer Engagement & Service: Skilled at building trust, resolving concerns, and creating positive customer experiences.
- Marketing & Storytelling: Ability to craft creative campaigns and messages that highlight brand value.

- High School or Equivalent, experience with 2+ years’ the foodservice industry, sales, kitchen and/ or customer service experience.
- Likes to Solve Problems and help delight customers.
- Professional demeanor, in a professional office setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office required); spreadsheet applications using Excel

- Office environment controlled climate, while warehouse and other parts of warehouse are temperature controlled with a base temperature of 45
- From time to time visits to processing area fillet or warehouse for short time periods, which will include exposure to cold temperatures
- Adhere to all safety, BRC, food safe and GMP guidelines while in the plant
- Occasional lifting may be required in retail and warehouse.
- Flexibility; ability to respond to daily schedule changes as needed
- Regular/daily use of phone and computer, up to 8 hours per day.
- Occasional lifting and carrying packages weighing up to 30 to 40 lbs.
- May be required to stand for extended periods of time
