Get to Know Your Team:
  • UT Health Athens is a 127-bed facility, including a 24-hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center; advanced diagnostic technology; 10-bed ICU; maternity unit radiation therapy center; and a stand-alone ED in Gun Barrel City.
ResponsibilitiesThe Director of Clinical Education is responsible for providing oversight for the development of training and programs in regard to promoting clinical practice standards.
QualificationsJob Requirements:
  • Minimum of five (5) years critical care experience
  • Current Texas License as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) years management experience
  • ER, OB and educational experience
  • Certification in Professional Development
