Rittal is seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth within the Energy & Power sector—including EVCI, BESS, renewables, and power grid markets. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and shaping go-to-market strategies in a fast-evolving industry.Salary Range: $102,000 – $120,000 – $140,000Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Energy & Power markets.
- Strengthen Rittal’s market position and expand our footprint across key verticals.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management to shape messaging and promotional strategies for social media and sales collateral.
- Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and partners.
- Represent Rittal at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
- Coordinate and lead client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to nurture long-term relationships.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
- Work closely with Eplan to deliver integrated solutions and maximize customer value.
- Develop use cases and application samples to support sales efforts.
- Serve as a liaison between the U.S. and German HQ to align global strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing—preferably in the manufacturing or energy sectors.
- Strong understanding of the manufacturing ecosystem and energy market dynamics.
- Proficiency in SAP (APO PP/DS preferred), Salesforce, MS Office, and PDM/PLM systems.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with a collaborative spirit and agile approach to change.
- Ability to work both in office and on the manufacturing floor.
- Occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs) and extended periods of standing or computer work.
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Safety gear required in designated areas (e.g., safety-toed footwear, glasses, hearing protection).
