
Test Operations Engineer

- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot test environments.
- Manage test infrastructure and tools.
- Configure and maintain continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Handle test data management and database administration.
- Understand and troubleshoot Test Executive/NI systems and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Systems, preferably in satellite facility labs.
- Work directly with Manufacturing Engineers on test station issues.
- Maintain and optimize test station network infrastructure.
- Debug communication issues between test equipment and control systems.
- Support production testing operations.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks.
- Create and execute automated test scripts.
- Implement performance testing solutions.
- Design and maintain test automation architecture.
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Document and track software defects.
- Validate bug fixes and feature implementations.
- Monitor system performance and reliability.
- Provide technical support for testing teams.
- Troubleshoot issues in test environments.
- Implement and maintain testing tools and processes.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or similar.
- Experience with testing frameworks and tools.
- Database management skills.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
- Experience with automated test equipment.
- Experience in manufacturing or aerospace testing environments.
- Knowledge of satellite systems is preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with network protocols and configurations.
- Knowledge of security testing principles.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Project management capabilities.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7-9 years of experience in software testing or development.
- Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or AWS are preferred.
