General Summary:
The Territory Accounts Manager is entrusted with the responsibility of acquiring new customers and revenue streams. This role focuses on advoca􀆟ng our bin cleaning and product transfer services to agriculture customers in a financially prudent manner. The ideal candidate embodies a tenacious and dedicated approach, leveraging crea􀆟vity, enthusiasm, and unwavering determina􀆟on to expand and finalize new business ventures.
Du􀆟es and Responsibili􀆟es:
  • Execute a high-velocity market entry strategy, rapidly establishing impac􀆞ul rela􀆟onships, breaking through entry barriers, and iden􀆟fying and capitalizing on opportuni􀆟es.
  • Proficiently deliver a targeted elevator pitch with a primary emphasis on planned maintenance services over emergency interven􀆟ons.
  • Cul􀆟vate robust rela􀆟onships through effec􀆟ve communica􀆟on with prospects, customers, and influen􀆟al decision-makers overseeing expenditures.
  • Strategize and plan for project and revenue expansion while ensuring adherence to customer service standards, driving profitability, and managing expenses.
  • Serve as an advocate and adept problem-solver, consistently priori􀆟zing the best interests of customers and prospects.
  • Collaborate on developing solu􀆟ons for customers and prospects facing equipment or storage challenges.
  • Iden􀆟fy market trends and customer demands while evalua􀆟ng compe􀆟􀆟ve pressures.
  • Asser􀆟vely fill and nurture the sales opportunity pipeline.
  • Successfully clear comprehensive background checks for access to company and customer premises.
  • Perform addi􀆟onal incidental du􀆟es as required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Educa􀆟onal Requirements: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
Required Cer􀆟fica􀆟on/Licensure: None.
Experience Requirements:
  • Five years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combina􀆟on of educa􀆟on and experience.
  • Proven track record in account management and establishing rela􀆟onships with key decision-makers responsible for expenditures.
  • Familiarity with the agriculture industry is highly advantageous.
Required Knowledge/ Skills:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cold calling and building produc􀆟ve rela􀆟onships with prospects.
  • Exhibit crea􀆟ve and entrepreneurial acumen in the pursuit of sustained growth.
  • Ability to deliver persuasive presenta􀆟ons resul􀆟ng in new business closures.
  • Strong capacity to assimilate technical informa􀆟on and ar􀆟culate our storage cleaning and product transfer processes.
  • Excep􀆟onal verbal and writen communica􀆟on skills, adeptness in mul􀆟tasking, and a proac􀆟ve approach to prospec􀆟ng.
  • Confidence in decision-making and analy􀆟cal abili􀆟es.
  • Problem-solving ap􀆟tude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge and comfort with conceptual and strategic selling methodologies.
  • Proficiency in influencing and nego􀆟a􀆟ng rates and arrangements.

Physical and Environmental Demands:
  • Capable of li􀅌ing/carrying materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate in a home office environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in writen communica􀆟on for proposals and email correspondence, as well as polished verbal skills in face-to-face and telephone interac􀆟ons.
Travel:
  • Able to travel up to 70% of the 􀆟me.
  • Travel primarily by car for extended dura􀆟ons within the states of Minnesota, Northern Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
Working Condi􀆟ons:
Combina􀆟on of indoor and outdoor inclement working environments.
Some exposure to varying weather condi􀆟ons, including extreme cold, heat, and humidity.
Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, elevated or precarious loca􀆟ons, electrical hazards, vibra􀆟ons, airborne par􀆟cles, chemicals, explosives, and radia􀆟on risks.
Typically, a quiet work environment (except during on-site crew ac􀆟vi􀆟es).
