As a Roofing Service Foreman, you will be responsible for completing the repairs with you crew, while documenting each step of the process using our mobile app. You will travel to job sites using the company vehicle, serve as a leader, mentor, and work collaboratively with a crew of 1-2 Technicians. Most of your time is spent outdoors inspecting damage, loading, and unloading materials, tools onto the roof, setting up fall-restraint and safety equipment, and completing repairs. Applicants must be comfortable with daily physical labor, heights, and following extensive safety procedures.Main Location: 3510 W Directors Row Salt Lake City, UTBenefits· Competitive pay· Health, dental, vision & life insurance (partial premiums paid)· Paid vacation & holidays· 401k w/company match· Gym membership access· PPE provided· Referral bonus program· Career advancement opportunities· Your safety is our priority!Daily Responsibilities· Complete repairs and maintenance of various commercial roofing systems· Investigate and identify roof leaks, inspecting damage, determine the correct repair process· Professional communication with clients and providing recommendations· Repairs, patches, and installation of various roof systems· Most day-to-day work includes general maintenance: debris/snow removal, tearing out old roof material, cleaning gutters, etc.· Use our mobile app to record, document, and report jobs completed· Respond to emergency leaks (usually on-call 1 week per month)· You will lead, train, and delegate tasks to your team (1-2 techs)· 24/7 On-call availability (usually 1-2 weeks per month, additional compensation is given)What you Bring· 5+ years' experience with installation and repairs of flat-roofing systems· Has held a lead or Foreman position for single-ply roofing installations or roofing repairs· Extensive knowledge of commercial roofing systems, including but not limited to: PVC, TPO and EPDM· Able to remove, repair, and install PVC, TPO, EPDM, and other roof components- gutters, soffit, fascia, flashing, etc.· Tech savvy-comfortable using mobile phone apps· Can identify roof leaks, determine the correct repair processes for various kinds of roofs, and life expectancy· Able to determine life expectancy and conditions of roof surfaces.· Knows roofing products, can order correct materials, tools, & equipment· Able to lead, train, and delegate· Willing to submit background check and drug test· Has a valid driver license & clear an MVR screening (Flynn requirements)· Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug screening8/28/2025#LN-JN1Flynn Group of Companies is the leading trade contractor in North America that works on virtually every aspect of a building's outer layer, including Roofing, Glazing, Waterproofing, and Architectural Metals.
