This role is essential to our precision manufacturing operations, contributing to the production of high-quality components that support our instrumentation solutions.What is the role about?Do you enjoy working with CNC machinery and precision tools? Are you skilled at interpreting blueprints and maintaining equipment? Do you thrive in a fast-paced production environment?
If so, this role offers an exciting opportunity to operate advanced CNC multi-spindle lathes with live milling, perform routine maintenance, and contribute to assembly operations. You'll work closely with the Group Leader and collaborate with other production team members in our Greenwood, IN facility.Which tasks will you perform?You will:
  • Operate CNC multi-spindle lathe with live milling on multiple tool turrets.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and routings.
  • Load programs, make minor offsets, and change cutting tools.
  • Perform manual machining using drills, grinders, and lathes.
  • Measure components using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and tape measures (Metric and English).
  • Conduct TPM activities and monitor equipment for wear and damage.
  • Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust, or scale from workpieces.
  • Cross-train in assembly operations and support other areas of the line.
  • Maintain accurate records and participate in Kaizen improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to and maintain strong 5S standards.
  • Perform additional duties such as forklift use, CNC tooling setup, parts washer operation, and general housekeeping.
What do we expect from you?You:
  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Possess 1-3 years of experience in basic machine trades.
  • Can read, write, and speak English effectively.
  • Understand specifications and simple instructions.
  • Have good math and basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
  • Are familiar with Fanuc and Okuma controls (preferred).
  • Are willing to work overtime when needed.
