- 2–4 years of substantive fund formation experience at a law firm.
- Strong background in private equity fund structuring, investor negotiations, and compliance issues.
- Excellent legal writing, verbal communication, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated professionalism with the ability to engage directly with high-profile clients and investors.
- Highly organized, with proven ability to balance multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative team player who also thrives working independently.
- Advise private equity sponsors and institutional investors on the structuring, formation, and operation of private investment funds.
- Counsel clients on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters impacting fund sponsors.
- Draft and negotiate fund documentation, side letters, and investor agreements.
- Manage complex transactions, balancing multiple priorities with precision and efficiency.
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver integrated client service.
- Engage with partners and clients from the outset, offering strategic guidance and practical solutions.
