- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Monitor and assess the health status of pediatric patients, including vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatment.
- Assist with procedures and treatments.
- Educate patients and guardians about health conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies related to pediatric nursing care.
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
- Current LPN license in the state of Mississippi.
- Previous experience in pediatric nursing preferred.
- BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
