Role Overview and Responsibilities:This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e., "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee, or Refugee.Job Summary:Tests and troubleshoots electronic power supplies in various stages of production with minimum supervision.Essential Functions
  • Performs test operations in accordance with test procedures, schematic diagrams, engineering sketches and/or verbal instructions.
  • Operates various types of test equipment such as VOM, Oscilloscope, chart recorder, vibration machine, data logger and power sources.
  • Performs mathematical calculations as necessary to develop data relative to basic electronic circuits.
  • Prepares and maintains test reports and records as necessary to satisfy company and customer’s requirements and to certify product conformance to specifications.
  • Supports the production and engineering with failure identification and analysis of production hardware.
  • Writes failure analysis reports for returned units prior to shipping them back to the customer.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:Experience & Education
  • 2 year degree in electronics or equivalent trade school certification
  • Minimum of 2 years electronic manufacturing test and repair experience, military power supplies related experience preferred
  • Knowledge of industrial power electronics.
