Med/Surg RN Job Details
- Location: Woodstock, Virginia (22664) Shenandoah Valley
- Facility: 25-bed Acute Care Hospital Medical Surgical Unit
- Position Type: Locum Tenens / Travel Nursing
- Start Date: October 20, 2025
- End Date: January 19, 2026
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45pm 7:15am), 3 shifts/week
- Hours: 36 hours/week (Guaranteed)
- Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday required
- On-Call: None
- Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,780 - $1,910
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
- Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Proficiency with Epic EMR (required)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS/PEARS (AHA only)
- Ability to provide clinical care for a diverse patient population (adults and teens)
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care to Med/Surg patients in a 24-bed unit
- Manage patient ratios up to 1:6
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document care and assessments in Epic EMR
- Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
