Information Environment Operations and Systems SpecialistThe Opportunity:Are you looking for an opportunity to create technical synergy that will create efficiencies for DoD clients conducting operations in the information environment? As an integration engineer, you know the importance of ensuring government and commercial applications and systems work together. You’re eager to apply and hone your consulting experience and knowledge of U.S. Marine Corps information-related capabilities and mission areas to develop creative solutions to provide battlespace awareness in the information environment.As an Information Environment (IE) Operations and Systems Specialist, you’ll apply your command and control (C2) expertise and leadership and communications skills. You'll be at the core of helping ensure the U.S. Marine Corps, DoD, and coalition partners accelerate the transformation to the systems, processes, and capabilities needed to outpace adversaries and maintain information advantage. You'll apply your vast operational expertise to work alongside leaders in intelligence, cyber, influence, consulting, and analytics. You’ll use your skills and knowledge to research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, support, and implement critical transformational change, driving success in our nation's warfighting capabilities. Further your career while creating mission-forward solutions that matter.You will use strong technical and analytical skills to explore and examine data and employ various C2 systems, from unclassified to classified domains, with the goal of providing government leaders insights in the physical, informational, and cognitive spaces. Use your expertise in government and commercial software capabilities and advice and assist with software solutions design and implement analysis infrastructure and tools, analytic workflow processes, and complex data visualizations. You'll leverage your understanding of data analysis and domain expertise to bridge the gap between technologists and decisions makers, ensuring software solutions meet IE C2 requirements. You will assist with the collection and ingestion of data from structured and unstructured sources, while ensuring quality and comprehensiveness of data. Assisting with the identification and acquisition of cutting edge visual, analytical software, applications, and data fusion technologies. Leading data exploration and analytic projects, and providing ongoing coaching of data topics, such as visualization, data mining, and analytic techniques. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
