DOEPosition SummaryThe ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Specialist position reports to the Logistics Manager and is responsible to manage inventory, cycle counts, receiving, issuing of material, drive efficiency, engage and collaborate with team members.Responsibilities
  • Work with supply chain team to ensure customer orders are fulfilled.
  • Conduct inventories.
  • Update information in our ERP system.
  • Maintain and process documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Schedule deliveries /Track shipments.
  • Check delivered material for accurate inventory.
  • Receive and issue material.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Supply chain experience (2 years minimum).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with ERP software: Inputting and issuing of material.
  • Experience with continuous process improvement; familiarity with ISO9000/AS9100 advantageous or military related experience.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.
Desired Experience/Skills
  • A bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field preferred.
Physical Demands
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds (with assistance, if required).
  • Regular use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls; reaching with hands and arms.
Work Authorization
  • Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States and complete a U.S. government I-9 Form.
  • Tactical Air Support is a Drug & Alcohol-Free Workplace. Pre-employment, random, or for cause drug/alcohol testing (including for marijuana) required.
  • Pre-employment and ongoing physical certifications required.
  • Occasional aircraft hangar or warehouse environment with exposure to loud noises, fumes from engines and chemicals, unpredictable climate (hot/cold), and electrical shock, or trip or slip hazards.
  • May be exposed to or required to handle hazardous materials.
  • Specific work hours determined by operational, departmental, or contractual requirements.
  • Occasional evening, weekend, holiday, and overtime work may be required.
  • Occasional travel to various work sites throughout the U.S. may be required.
