- Auto Allowance $3,600 ($300 a month, plus .15c a mile)

- Work with a volunteer board of directors and other community and business leaders to identify, recruit, train, guide, and inspire them to become involved.
- Achieve specific goals and objectives which include: Growing and retaining youth membership; Starting new Scouting units; Fundraising; Program development through collaborative relationships; and Volunteer recruitment.
- Be a good role model and recognize the importance of working relationships with other professionals and volunteers.
- Provide quality service through timely communication, regular meetings, training events and activities.
- Must be comfortable with public speaking and interacting with diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated individual with solid time management skills and strong organizational skills.
- People-oriented, having the ability to work well with adult volunteers, community and business leaders, and representatives of other organizations.
- Committed to personal and professional productivity and maintaining high ethical working standards.
- Non-profit, fundraising, sales or marketing experience is a plus.
- Must be willing to accept and meet Scouting America's leadership and membership standards and subscribe to the Scout Oath and Law.
- Candidates must live in the counties served by the position.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Have a willingness and ability to work varied hours when necessary. Evening activities and weekend work is often required to achieve positive objectives.
- Ability to travel for a week-long training at least once a year and attend multiple conferences each year.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Proficient in Microsoft Work, Outlook, and Excel.
