Genesis10 is seeking a Software Developer. This is a hybrid 6-month contract to hire position with a client located in Columbus, OH. This position requires 2 days per week on-site in Columbus, OH.
Rate: 60-70/hour
Job Description:
The Software Developer will design, build, and enhance applications that support the organization's core business operations. They will work across the technology stack using .NET, C#, SQL, and front-end frameworks to deliver reliable and scalable solutions. The developer will also collaborate with team members to improve existing systems and ensure applications meet business needs.
Responsibilities:
  • Designs, develops, and maintains software applications using .NET and C#.
  • Building intuitive, reliable front-end features using JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Developing and optimizing database interactions using SQL and T-SQL.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with a focus on sustainable, long-term solutions.
  • Collaborating with team members, architects, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participating in project planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong experience with .NET and C#.
  • Solid understanding of front-end development with JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with relational databases and T-SQL.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, including testing, version control, CI/CD, and code quality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
