Position Overview:The Bindery Associate will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating a guillotine cutter to job ticket specifications with the use of Microcut Software.Shift Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30pm Responsibilities:Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Ability to setup, maintain and operate 100" and 65" Programmable Guillotine cutter and 36" and 54" Laminator
  • Confirms conformance of finished work to job ticket specifications, using measuring instruments such as tape measures and calipers.
  • Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
  • Advises temporary workers that may work with you.
  • Problem solving.
  • Maintains clean workstation and cleans work area prior to end of shift.
  • Adheres to all safety requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Position may require overtime, weekends, shift adjustments, or holidays as needed.
Qualifications:Mandatory Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, 2 years of transferable work experience, or 520 hours as temporary employe, along with manager approval to hire full-time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in printing, manufacturing, distribution, and/or fulfillment.
  • Bilingual or multilingual proficiency in any language (including ASL) preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift up to 50 LBS constantly throughout the day.
  • Ability to stand for entire shift.
  • Knowledge of general safety procedures.
  • Basic math and computing knowledge.
  • Ability to follow a schedule.

Pay Range: USD $17.50 - USD $19.00 /Hr. Pay Statement:The national pay range for this role is listed above. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
