At VLCM, we "Get IT Right"-for our customers, our partners, and our people.JOB DESCRIPTIONAs Project Manager at VLCM, you will lead mission-critical initiatives across departments-from Audio Visual to Professional Services. This is not just a coordination role, it's a strategic leadership position designed to professionalize our project management function, implement scalable processes, and mentor a growing team. You'll be instrumental in delivering complex enterprise technology solutions on time, on budget, and beyond client expectations.WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise technology projects across multiple departments
  • Build, refine, and implement project management best practices, documentation standards, and workflows
  • Collaborate with department leaders to allocate resources, set timelines, and manage priorities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on project status, milestones, risks, and deliverables
  • Establish KPIs and reporting dashboards to monitor project performance and ensure continuous improvement
  • Mentor and guide junior project managers as we build out a dedicated PMO (Project Management Office)
  • Anticipate and manage risks, proactively resolving roadblocks to ensure projects are delivered successfully
  • Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and excellence across project teams
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical or enterprise-level projects
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects involving departments like AV, IT, or Professional Services
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid)
  • Proven experience building or scaling project management teams or PMO structures
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Asana, or similar
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
