- Partner with corporate leadership and external stakeholders to research, analyze, and implement enterprise-wide network architecture solutions.
- Review existing network infrastructure and provide technical recommendations to the Engineering team, including hardware, firmware, and software lifecycle guidance as well as configuration best practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide vendor-agnostic recommendations that align with HUB’s strategic and operational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering initiatives with business needs, maximizing the impact of engineering resources.
- Review and validate that existing and planned deployments optimally support both current production needs and the organization’s future-state vision.
- Analyze network performance, support capacity planning, and recommend improvements to maintain reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
- Drive modernization initiatives that enhance the resilience, efficiency, and scalability of the enterprise network.
- Advance enterprise architecture maturity by contributing strategic insight, continuous improvement, and best practices.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify and translate business, technical, and operational requirements into network architecture solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise architecture artifacts—such as service maps, application catalogs, and platform inventories—to provide a reliable foundation for planning and decision-making.
- Lead the analysis and recommendation of upgrades, designs, and configuration changes to strengthen the performance, resilience, and security of the enterprise network.
- Define and maintain benchmarks, performance metrics, and measures to track progress, assess effectiveness, and guide continuous improvement of network architecture.
- Support high-level root-cause analysis of service interruptions and recommend preventive architectural and configuration improvements.
- Contributes to the development and refinement of network tools and platforms, ensuring they effectively support monitoring, observability, and automation needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or applicable experience.7+ Years of experience with network architecture around WAN/LAN, Routing, Switching, Optimization and extensive exposure with Cloud Service Providers.
- 3+ Years of SDWAN architecture and engineering with experience with PBR, ECMP, DSCP Tagging / TOS / ECN analysis and tuning.
- 3+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP network infrastructure as a service.
- Networking (Firewall / Switching / Wifi) and Enterprise EFP experience is a bonus (BGP, OSPF, HSRP, STP, SNMP, Netflow, NBar, Packet Tracing, measures vs metrics vs observables, etc).
- Collaboration, prioritization, and adaptability skills.
- Experience in project management, network design and integration.
- Desire to continuously develop your skills and knowledge.
- An ability to diagnose and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Thorough knowledge of layered network architectures and layered solutions and designs.
- Consultative skills, including the ability to understand and assist in applying customer requirements, including drawing out unforeseen implications and making recommendations for design, the ability to define design reasoning, and understanding potential impacts of design requirements.
