Campari Group is today the sixth-largest player worldwide in the premium spirits industry.The On-Premise Specialist (San Diego) is responsible for driving brand growth and distribution in one of California's highest-volume territories. Managing a portfolio key accounts, including high-volume venues, hotels, resorts, and regional accounts, the specialist collaborates with internal teams and external partners to execute brand-building programs, grow sales volume, and expand market presence. This dynamic, market-facing role suits someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and values relationship-building within the beverage industry.Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute account programming and brand-building activities, focusing on high-volume, coastal, and downtown accounts.
  • Visit 5-7 accounts per day, making in-person presentations and maintaining strong account management and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with Field Sales, Marketing, Brand Ambassadors, distributor sales teams, mixologists, and key decision makers.
  • Attend weekend and evening events as required, ensuring compliance with company policies (insured vehicle and valid driver's license).
  • Achieve KPIs such as volume growth (target: 20%), distribution expansion, menu features, and event execution, managing a multi-brand portfolio with emphasis on the top nine brands.
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business Administration).
  • 1-3 years of experience in on premise alcoholic beverage sales (2-5 years preferred), experience in a three-tier distribution market.
  • Strong, current relationships and marketing understanding in the on-premise channel.
  • Proficiency in KARMA, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel within San Diego County 3-5 days per week, including evenings and weekends.
  • Results-oriented, creative, able to work independently, with strong relationship-building skills and business integrity.
  • Experience with distributor companies is highly valued.
Location: must be based in San Diego County.The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $95,000 per year. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors and considerations.
