Our ideal candidate is early career and a recent or soon to be graduate (up to 1 year prior, or by no later than May 2024) from a two-year technical certification program. The candidate should have advanced knowledge and demonstrated interest in all things mechanical and automation, not only in the classroom but also their interests and projects.   • Maintaining control programs and philosophies at all facilities and locations, Field oversight for installations and perform maintenance while working collaboratively with engineers, designers, operations and project managers of varying disciplines with an emphasis on optimization, safety and efficiency, will be required to interact with technical authorities and specialist in other departments and areas to ensure alignment and standards are followed
  • Troubleshoot and support DCS, PLC, RTU, HMI’s, SCADA systems and platforms, communication networks, telemetry and related equipment
  • Maintenance of OT\IT interface, Cybersecurity management, data integrity and continuous improvement for SCADA infrastructure such as servers, firewalls and data management
  • Supporting and maintaining SD keys, cause and effect documents, program management and automation documentation and standards
  • Field support for automation and control, including engineering and design of new facilities, optimization, construction, commissioning and operations projects
  • Participate in discussions with engineering, production, maintenance, safety and procurement departments for automation equipment, devices and specifications
  • Review, Utilize, and maintain P&ID’s, EAC’s, panel, site layout and civil drawings
  • Participate in FAT and site commissioning of automation and instrumentation equipment
  • Data analysis and creation of Power BI dashboards, Internal Digital forms, and all aspects of Digitalization in the workplace
  • Work with advanced functions of Excel and data manipulation
  • Active user of CMMS system processing workorders and assisting with scheduling of work
  • Provide support for bypassing and proper management of process alarms.
  • Any other reasonable activity required by management
Requirements:
  • Must be fully authorized for employment in the US without limitations, conditional requirements, or sponsorship required, now or in the future.
  • Recent graduate (within 1 year or by May 2024) from a technical college, studying Process or Automation (or equivalent). Similar programs or degrees (2 yr. min) may be considered, if the candidate has at least of 1 year experience in Automation, Process, or IT. Experience may be in the form of employment, internship or other activities related to Automation.
  • Must have understanding of automation systems, pneumatic controls, and similar equipment such as DCS, PLC\RTU’s, or related IT systems
  • Preferred awareness of ANSI, NEC, NFPA & API standards and specifications
  • Preferred knowledge in Data analysis, Power BI reports, Advanced Excel functions
  • Preferred knowledge of SAPPM or similar CMMS system
  • Preferred knowledge of local, state and government codes and regulatory requirements
