- Support modeling and simulation tasks, including:
- Development of modeling capabilities to simulate, emulate and evaluate technology options identified by RVE.
- Testing and operation of modeling and simulation capabilities.
- Analyses identifying requirement shortfalls, missing functionality, and model improvements.
- Support Hardware/Software-in-the-Loop and Cloud Computing Architecture development and administration tasks.
- Support assembly and integration tasks, including:
- Space technology assembly and integration support.
- Spacecraft bus, payload, and experiment assembly and integration within government facilities.
- Support in the development of government flight experiment and space technology requirements, mission scope, design tradeoffs/alternatives, concepts of operation, mission constraints, conceptual designs, and mission analyses.
- 8+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree; OR 6+ years of experience with a Master’s degree.
- Local to Albuquerque, New Mexico with the ability to work on-site
- This position requires the candidate possess a minimum of Top-Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI. The candidate must maintain the clearance.
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, including integration of electrical systems with other subsystems (e.g., mechanical, software, avionics).
- Proficient in the use of electrical engineering design tools (e.g., CAD software, circuit simulation tools) and analysis tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters).
- Familiarity with MIL-STD standards and other relevant military specifications and regulatory requirements.
