The Warehouse Safety Coordinator (3rd Shift) supports environmental, health, safety, and security efforts at the site focusing on the deployment of MESH initiatives, working directly with front line leaders. Individual is accountable for: supporting EHS activities at the site, including leading MESH elements and maintaining EHS systems and processes such as monitoring and measurement systems related to EHS, reporting and communication of EHS metrics, collection, and organization of EHS action items, supporting EHS training for various initiatives, leading and supporting EHS teams, leading/supporting incident investigations, and supporting site internal assessment activities. In this function, you will: Support safety-related projects and initiatives aimed at improving the Zero Incident Safety Culture program. Assist in monitoring key compliance areas such as machine guarding, electrical safety, confined space entry, and lockout/tagout procedures. Assist in the implementation of safety and environmental goals under the guidance of EHS leadership. Participate in employee-led safety teams and support safety committee activities. Help maintain emergency response procedures and assist with conducting drills (e.g., evacuations, medical emergencies, weather events). Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to help ensure plant changes and upgrades meet MESH “Change Management” requirements. Provide support to engineering and facilities teams on capital projects as directed. Participate in incident investigations by collecting information, identifying potential causes, and supporting the implementation of corrective actions under supervision. Support the coordination and delivery of safety training programs, which may include PPE, Forklift, First Aid, Machine Safety, Hearing Conservation, Respiratory Protection, Bloodborne Pathogens, Foot and Eye Protection, Confined Space, Contractor Safety, and Hazard Communication. Assist with EHS reporting and documentation, including tracking metrics, supporting regulatory compliance, and helping with communications to public or government authorities when needed. Support workstation risk assessments as assigned. Contribute to site sustainability efforts, including recycling, waste minimization, and Zero-Waste-To-Landfill initiatives. Maintain a visible presence in operational areas to support compliance with EHS standards through employee engagement and participation in audits. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or EHS leadership. High School Diploma with 3 years of experience in Environmental, Health, Safety, & Security OR an Associate's Degree from an accredited institution. Understanding of basic EHS principles and tools, including but not limited to safe work practices, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word). Demonstrated ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision.
