- Works closely with YRH Supervisor in developing a behavioral level system designed to reinforce healthy behaviors and reduce negative behaviors.
- Provides education and activities to residents to promote positive social skills, independent living skills, and healthy peer relationships.
- Provides life coaching around various developmental challenges. Ensures appropriate referrals are made to Licensed Mental Health and Chemical Dependency professionals when deemed appropriate.
- Works with external agencies such as schools, employers, Muckleshoot Child & Family Services (MCFS), the court system, treatment providers, etc. to assist resident in meeting their goals.
- Participates in relevant team meetings to ensure a comprehensive and collaborative approach to resident care. Participates in case management with other staff and YRH Supervisor.
- Documents services as deemed necessary by the YRH Supervisor. Documents and tracks resident progress toward their stated goals.
- Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all protected health information in accordance with the Division’s Policies and Procedures, and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Because of the Tribe’s commitment to community service and the well being of its members, each employee may be expected to perform a wide range of office and field duties from time to time. Such duties may or may not be related to their regular responsibilities, and may include driving.
