Job Description:OverviewBig Sky Resort operates a diverse portfolio of retail outlets including Big Sky Sports, Provisions, Big Sky Cap Co., Lone Peak Logo Shop, Riders Room, Peak Pros, and the year-round Big Sky Resort Store located in Town Center.We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Retail Distribution Associate to support our retail division both on the sales floor and behind the scenes. From stocking merchandise and executing transfers to organizing inventory and updating prices, this role is critical to maintaining an efficient and well-presented shopping experience across all outlets.Check out Big Sky Resort's retail outlets at the link .
Responsibilities
  • Stock merchandise in retail outlets from warehouse deliveries and backroom inventory
  • Process, organize, and deliver new merchandise to appropriate locations
  • Complete product transfers between outlets
  • Pick, pack, and ship online orders
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits
  • Reprice and merchandise products based on seasonal updates or promotional changes
  • Maintain clean and organized front- and back-of-house spaces
  • Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to guests with retail-related inquiries
  • Learn and share information about Big Sky Resort and local area activities
  • Work independently or as part of a team, managing time and priorities efficiently
Training and Employee Growth
  • Participate in all required retail training sessions
  • Stay proactive in learning about product updates, reports, and the retail industry
  • Take advantage of additional in-store and external training opportunities
Qualifications
  • Highly accurate and organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
  • Customer service experience is helpful
  • Self-motivated and dependable with strong time management skills
Physical Requirements:Able to stand and walk for extended periodsCapable of overhead reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, and lifting up to 55 lbs with assistanceComfortable walking stairs and climbing laddersAble to perform daily maintenance tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, and trash removalAll full time seasonal team members can enjoy the following benefits:
