Job Description:OverviewBigBear.ai is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our Information Services team, based out of Hill AFB, Utah and have an important role in supporting our mission of Strategic Deterrence through continual improvement and innovation.You’ll be supporting a cybersecurity effort to provide assistance obtaining and maintaining Air Force, Department of Defense (DoD), and public law compliance for enterprise business solutions and ICBM weapon system information technology, assisting and advising Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) and MMIII & Sentinel Systems Directorates acquisition programs in applying the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Lifecycle steps throughout all DoD acquisition program phases.This position will work on-site at Hill Air Force Base, UT. The position requires the ability to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret Clearance however preference and greater consideration will be given to candidates who already hold a TS.What you will do
  • Coordinating IT Projects for multiple sites and classification (type) of sites
  • Managing Change Management Requests for each site
  • Developing/maintaining project plans – JIRA, Microsoft Project
  • Requirements collections and establishment (Define Requirements)
  • Project construction meetings
  • Project LOM redlines review
  • Requirement Owner / stakeholder engagement
  • Coordination with other Sentinel Teams
  • Jira project tasks (spread across multiple projects: MIF, TITAN, etc.)
  • Confluence page creation and updates
  • General technical project management
  • Visio documents creation / editing
  • LOM generation
  • Full inventory management
What you need to have
  • BA/BS degree and 5- 7 years of related IT and Program Management experience
  • Experience in an IT or Software Development role
  • 2+ years of recent experience working in project management
  • 2+ years of recent experience working in a DoD enterprise environment
  • Experience working with customers and building strong relationships
  • Working knowledge of network infrastructure and hardware
  • Able to work independently and demonstrate strong initiative, complex problem-solving skills, and an ability to organize assigned daily tasks and the tasks of subordinates with no supervision
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) as well as the ability to interact with team members, external vendors, various levels of management and internal clients with assorted levels of computer experience
  • Effective in developing and capturing metrics that reflect performance
  • A fast learner with an ability to quickly understand different technologies
  • The ability to obtain and maintain an active Top Secret clearance is required; preference and higher consideration will be applied to candidates who already possess an active TS Clearance
  • Excellent customer service skills
