- Partner with business users and stakeholders to identify UAT test scenarios based on business processes, reporting needs, and data requirements
- Develop detailed UAT use cases and supporting documentation that clearly define expected outcomes
- Ensure UAT test coverage across data warehouse ETL pipelines, staging areas, and reporting outputs
- Support data mapping and traceability between source systems, transformations, and reporting requirements
- Validate test scenarios against business and reporting requirements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Provide guidance and assistance to the State client during UAT execution, including defect documentation and triage support
- Collaborate with the Optum data warehouse team, state stakeholders, and modular vendors to align UAT priorities and address gaps
- Track progress and provide input on UAT readiness, risks, and issues to project leadership
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing, UAT preparation, or quality assurance, with a strong focus on data warehouse and reporting validation
- Demonstrated experience in test scenario identification and use case development for business-driven testing
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries to support data analysis and validation during UAT preparation
- Experience validating reports and dashboards in Power BI (data accuracy, calculations, and visualizations)
- Familiarity with schema testing, metadata validation, and data lineage concepts
- Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in multi-vendor, modular IT environments
- Experience with Medicaid data and federal reporting requirements (e.g., T-MSIS, CMS dashboards)
- Familiarity with the Optum Medicaid Data Warehouse or similar large-scale Medicaid DW systems
- Knowledge of CMS reporting guidelines and data quality standards
- Exposure to data governance, MDM, or data management practices
