At Midas we are dedicated to providing quality services to customer vehicles in the areas of inspection, diagnosis and repair utilizing the expertise attained through ASE Certifications and/or years of automotive repair experience.We are looking for general service technicians that are able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers. We have a full-service facility and we are looking for automotive technicians to help us create an environment of success!Level A Technician:
Auto Mechanic – - General Service Tech Learn while you work, work while you learn! As a technician, you’ll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing
  • Tire mounting, rotation
  • Alignments
  • Batteries, starting and charging
  • Fluid exchanges such as oil, coolant, power steering, etc.
  • Visual safety and courtesy inspections
  • Maintenance
(Mechanic, technician, auto tech, automotive technician, general service, full service, garage, shop)ResponsibilitiesAn Automotive Technician is largely responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle engine systems. Automotive Technicians may have the following duties and responsibilities:
  • Repair brake and steering systems.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems.
  • Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components as needed.
  • Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling.
  • Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
  • Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
  • Possess a valid state driver’s license for conducting test drives.
