As a Maintenance Mechanic, youll be responsible for maintaining and inspecting chassis trailers, including FHWA inspections, brakes, lights, greasing, and tire changes. You'll work on a large fleet of container chassis, perform welding and fabrication on chassis and containers, and service grain handling equipment like augers and conveyor belts. The role also includes maintaining industrial diesel equipment such as yard trucks, forklifts, rail movers, and container handlers. Youll carry out repairs, rebuilds, installations, and ensure proper alignment of equipment, along with completing repair documentation and follow-ups. To succeed, you should have a valid drivers license (chassis certifications are a plus), at least two years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of diesel, electrical, hydraulic, and brake systems. The ability to read mechanical drawings, solve problems effectively, and lift 75+ pounds is essential.WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
