We are a team of multi-discipline engineers and designers who work together in collaboration on new building and upgrades to existing facilities. There has never been a better time to join our team.Our Internship Program, Explore, is designed for college students pursuing a degree in a STEM field and provides opportunities to learn what it’s like to work in a professional environment and apply what’s learned in class to the real-world challenges we face every day.RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform basic drafting in 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D (Revit) to acquire the necessary CAD skills and applicable software knowledge to support the technical services of the company.
  • Acquire knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems.
  • Develop familiarity with CAD software and related equipment and procedures.
  • Enter basic data, as instructed, such as measurements and commands, to generate construction drawings, renderings, report graphics and other digital images.
  • Edit existing designs, following detailed instructions.
  • Make minor mathematical calculations.
  • Check drawings to verify completeness, clarity, and accuracy, and present to supervisor for review.
  • Take on-line software training programs and read manuals and other instructional materials to develop familiarity with CAD products and company/departmental procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of graphic displays and presentation materials.
  • Perform such other duties as the Supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
  • Project site visits to assist Engineer with surveys.
  • Provide administrative and operations support.
  • Complete Quality Management Training and comply with the program upholding a commitment to a culture of quality in all aspects of work.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • EXPERIENCE: No experience is generally required.
  • EDUCATION: Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in one of the following or similar:
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Architectural Engineering
  • SPECIAL SKILLS:
  • Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Capable of developing technical writing
  • Good communications skills
  • AutoCAD or Revit is a plus.
  • Carrier HAP or Trane Trace, Bluebeam, Navisworks is a plus.
