
Salesforce Technical Lead / Architect - Cleared / Clearable

- Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex Salesforce solutions for federal clients.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define technical strategy, and ensure alignment with security and compliance standards.
- Oversee the configuration, customization, and integration of Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom apps.
- Provide technical leadership to development teams, ensuring best practices in coding, DevOps, and release management.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior staff, and foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Ensure solutions meet federal security and data protection requirements, including FISMA, FedRAMP, and other relevant standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Salesforce environments.
- Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and deployment plans.
- Support proposal development and technical presentations as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development and architecture.
- Proven experience leading Salesforce projects in federal or highly regulated environments.
- Salesforce certified (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Application Architect, System Architect) strongly preferred.
- Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience with integration platforms (MuleSoft, Informatica, etc.) and security protocols (OAuth, SAML).
- Strong understanding of federal security requirements and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role OR Active Secret Security Clearance
- Ability to travel 20-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Must be local to the Washington, D.C. area, with ability to be onsite
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with government cloud environments (Salesforce Government Cloud, AWS GovCloud, etc.).
- Prior experience supporting federal agencies in the Washington, D.C. area.
