The site of Seymour in the United States is focused on Visibility Systems. Our department is looking for a VIE Methods for 18 months within the team.Your challenges?You will support the industrialization of the product (Headlamp or Tail lamp) from the project award to the start of productionThe 3 different phases of the project are: Design for manufacturability, Phase 2 - Equipment build and validation & Phase 3 - Bring equipment on site and launchYou will work with CAD designers and R&D to create a product designed for manufacturability (easy to assemble) & challenge the project KPI using cardboard engineering (Lean Process Design)You will develop the specifications for the equipment following safety, ergonomic, and process rules & work with purchasing to select the correct equipment builder for the jobYou will work with the equipment builder to ensure simple and strong design of equipment and tooling & follow the equipment builder progress during their design phase, manufacturing and debuggingYou will respect program timing and budget spending & lead equipment and tooling validation at the equipment builder to match the requirement and PFMEAYou will validate equipment at the Valeo - Seymour site with the industrial team & lead process audit, develop settings and machine capabilityYou will train manufacturing team on the new equipment (Operator, Technician, Engineers) & achieve the program KPIs during the Full Day Production Run (Cycle time, Headcount, Downtime), and also lead line demonstration at rate in front of the customerLet’s talk about you…You are graduated from a Master/School degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)You already have some experience in this fieldIdeally, you already have experience in the automotive industryYou have knowledge of overall equipment development process from specification to industrialization and validationYou have a fluent level of EnglishYou have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinkingYou are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacyPlease, don't forget to apply in English to facilitate the process with our managers.Why Valeo?To participate in innovative projects with our expertsTo be part of an inclusive and multicultural companyFor career opportunities at national or international levelTo be a committed link in favor of green mobilityTo find meaning in your commitment=
