Job Category: AO - Administration/OperationsJob Description:This position prepares the way of salvation and exaltation by providing essential gospel teachings, resources, and services accessible to God's children, supporting the mission of the Church. This position exists to provide operational support to the to the fleet management team in the execution of the Assest Management Plan for Church medium and heavy duty fleet vehicles throughout the United States. This position will facilitate many operational functions as well as contribute to annual plans by analyzing business operations with the goal of standardizing processes, minimizing expenditures, and maximizing performance. The incumbent of this role must be temple-worthy.Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of fleet operations using independent judgement and discretion for assigned smaller US/Canada missions, working closely with mission vehicle coordinators based locally in each mission
  • Facilitates training and provides direct service and support to operations with medium and heavy duty vehicles
  • Facilitates analysis of data and processes, compilation of information related to all aspects of fleet management and preparing data for presentations
  • Manages and makes judgment calls for fleet processes including planning, purchasing, certifying driver, maintenance, and sales
  • Implement action items: collecting, evaluating, disseminating, coordinating, and maintaining complex information and data from multiple sources
  • Propose performance gaps for review, recommend possible solutions, and prepare root cause analysis for implementation
  • Perform administrative tasks which include:
  • Give direction to complex maintenance and fleet operation question
  • Coordinate vehicle aquisition and sales
  • Accomplish special assignments
Qualifications:Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or transportation, or other related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Effective data analysis and research skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in written form
  • Able to multi-task and mange competing demands
  • Ability to keep confidence and appropriately deal with sensitive data and documents
  • This position operates in a professional work environment
  • To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met, such as: sitting for long periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment
  • Effective in the use of Excel and other standard Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Excellent customer service
