- Provides HR support to the operations teams, including administering company policies, procedures and programs.
- Leads and supports employee engagement and culture activities
- Responsible for ensuring accurate timekeeping and payroll details for timely payroll processing.
- Lead and champion plant safety policies and procedures.
- Actively monitors the local market to understand wage practices and employment trends.
- Works with Managers and corporate Talent Acquisition to determine staffing needs and develop job descriptions. Facilitates hiring process for the plan, including manage job postings, recruiting, interviewing and selecting talent.
- Conducts employee onboarding, training and assists management with monitoring performance according to Ventek standards.
- Maintains employment related documentation
- Act as point of contact for benefit programs, including open enrollment communication, benefits enrollment, general plan questions and resolving benefit issues.
- Partners with leadership on coaching, development, employee relations matters and investigations as needed.
- Manages leave of absence requests including FMLA, ADA and Worker’s Compensation matters.
- Maintains working knowledge of existing and new Federal, State and Local laws and regulations affecting the workforce. Makes recommendations as needed to update policies and procedures.
- Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.

- A minimum of three years’ experience working in one or more functional areas of Human Resources or a related area, with at least two years’ experience with Employee Relations, Policy and Procedure administration, compliance, and/or related HR Generalist experience is preferred. Experience working in a manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Operationally proficient with Microsoft Office suite and applicant tracking systems.
- Must be detail oriented
- Must be an effective communicator and builds relationships across functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred. A combination of education and experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
