Position Summary: The Production Operator is responsible for operating various equipment to record live and taped programming for broadcast. This position is responsible for working in collaboration with the news, production, and engineering teams.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Operates studio cameras during live and taped programming
  • Confers with directors and other crew members to discuss sequences, desired effects, camera movements and lighting requirements
  • Sets up and performs shots for broadcasts
  • Sets up cameras and related equipment
  • Operates Audio board for live and taped programming
  • Operates Graphics system for live and taped programming
  • Operates Teleprompter for live and taped programming
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills:
  • Technical degree in Digital Electronics, Broadcasting, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with broadcast-related equipment preferred
  • Flexibility with shift
