- Schedule and conduct pre-construction coordination meetings (Management & Field) based on standard format.
- Perform a cost analysis of the project estimate to identify deficiencies and areas for cost savings.
- Ensure field crews understand the scope of the project in relation to the contract and plans.
- Identify Change Order scope and the most profitable approach. Ensure all change orders are captured.
- Monitor purchase requests to ensure material complies with project scope. Ensure buy out is as profitable as possible.
- Identify/Update High Payoff Activities/Motivation Plans with Each Direct Report.
- Provide Feedback on Performance and Coaching for Improvement and Motivation. Formalize/Document.
- Identify and Address Training Needs for Each Direct Report(s). Teach Supers performance discussions.
- Help Team Members Identify and Solve Problems.
- Review contract plans and documents to ensure field crews have required information and correct materials to complete the project.
- Ensure submittals and material orders are processed in a timely fashion to meet construction schedules.
- Ensure Project Engineers are tracking their projects, i.e. Master Project Tracking form.
- Maintain effective relations with the Owner and General Contractor, i.e. balance between achieving profitability with while pleasing customer and getting new work.
- Communicate immediately with the Customer regarding schedule impact and budget changes.
- Work with K2 Team to ensure resolution of conflicts between field employees and customers.
- Work with Service Manager to ensure warranty issues are addressed.
- Keep Job Costing information documentation up to date to aid in Financial Analysis. Estimate stays accurate (labor tracking).
- Perform Cost to Complete Analysis monthly.
- Participate in recap meetings to review Cost to Complete Analysis.
- Create and submit Change Orders by month end.
- Follow up with Customer to process Change Orders.
- Ensure Billing is at the Maximum Tolerable level.
- Make Safety a priority in work related decisions.
- Identify and address Safety Violations Use as a teaching pool.
- All other tasks associated with project completion, i.e. verifying material quantities before ordering, code compliance, value engineering, subcontractor quotes and contracts, design modification consulting, monitor supplier performance.

- 2+ years as a PE with a bachelor’s degree focused on construction management OR 4+ years as a PE with a career path working through the ranks as an Electrician (experience must be in commercial electrical construction projects)
- Experience with organizing the appropriate data for key leadership decision making
- Ability to sit or stand at a desk for long hours when working in the office
- Ability to consistently operate a computer and other office productivity equipment
- Ability to lift 20 pounds as needed in routine activities associated with position
- Ability to wear PPE when working/visiting a project location
- Ability to work in extreme heat when working/visiting a project location
- Ability to move safely over uneven terrain when working/visiting a project location
