- Provide engineering support for new and ongoing projects.
- Support the improvement of planned and existing USAF and joint service weapon systems manufacture, operations, re-manufacture, and de-militarization operations and oversight.
- Assist in translating user requirements into system requirements to support design, development, fabrication, testing, and evaluation of systems, subsystems, and equipment for deployment.
- Develop action plans and policies necessary to improve and retain world class weapon system capabilities.
- Perform technical/mission analyses of existing and potential operational requirements, assist in developing system concepts, and perform technological and trade-off study assessments of proposed designs.
- Develop and review the overall system design baseline (architecture and interoperability requirements).
- Assist with developmental planning support in the evaluation of military missions to be accomplished and related requirements documentation including defining the set of military missions to be performed.
- Review and analyze proposals, including regulatory and other policy driver changes or proposed modifications for design feasibility and system compatibility.
- Review specifications, including system, system segment, and equipment specifications, and interface control documents involved in programs.
- Support and conduct engineering performance, effectiveness, cost effectiveness, cost performance, life cycle cost, producibility, maintainability, supportability, reliability, technical, and schedule risk assessment and scheduling trade-off studies.
- Support and conduct systems analyses to include, but not limited to, system design/design feasibility and state-of-the-art assessment.
- Support the development and evaluation of IMP, IMS, and Systems Engineering Detail Schedule engineering cost estimates.
- Evaluate systems test plans and Test and Evaluation Master Plans and participate in the conduct of system, subsystem, and component testing.
- Provide systems/subsystems integration support for the acquisition, development, and verification of systems and equipment.
- Support weapons systems life cycle including analysis of alternatives, creation of investment strategies, manufacturing, support, and end-of-life processes.
- Teach learning modules within Anti-Tamper (AT) courses to industry and government participants and assist in curriculum development.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of multiple Special Access Program (SAP) Security Classification Guides (SCGs).
- Support staffing and coordination with multiple DoD service and industry security, technical, financial, and contracting working groups to review and adjudicate SCG feedback comments and approval of the SCGs.
- Staff and publish SCGs to support the DoD AT community.
