HME Companies is a fast-paced, vertically integrated real estate development company dedicated to designing, building, and operating high-quality senior living and multifamily communities.We are hiring a Construction Project Manager with proven experience in managing commercial and residential construction projects from start to finish. In this role, you will lead all phases of construction-from pre-construction planning and permitting to execution and project closeout-while ensuring all work is delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator, with a solid background in construction project management, scheduling, budgeting, and team coordination. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, vendors, architects, and engineers to ensure the successful delivery of each project.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee full lifecycle of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, execution, and closeout;
  • Develop detailed project scopes, cost estimates, and timelines in collaboration with clients and stakeholders;
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, and architects to ensure project alignment;
  • Lead regular project meetings, generate progress reports, and communicate updates to stakeholders;
  • Enforce compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and quality standards;
  • Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services;
  • Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors to maintain efficiency and project adherence;
  • Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documentation; and
  • Track project progress and resolve issues that may impact timelines or budgets.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience);
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Construction Project Manager;
  • Proven success managing commercial or residential construction projects;
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Buildertrend, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office;
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, safety regulations, and local building codes;
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities; and
  • OSHA 10/30 certifications or equivalent safety credentials preferred.
