- Assessment and repair of Store and Home Office equipment.
- Analyze and make recommendations for new hardware purchases to meet the business need.
- Repairs all computer, peripheral, and electronic equipment (computers, scanners, printers, PDA’s, check readers, touch screens, POS equipment, etc.), from hardware to component level, for Home Office and stores.
- Interprets and diagnoses the problem with the equipment based on written documentation on the repair ticket and testing.
- Troubleshoots and analyzes equipment issues to determine solutions.
- Maintains accurate records of all procedures and repairs performed on each piece of equipment.
- Inventory and Ordering
- Maintains an adequate spare parts inventory of systems, subsystems, and component parts used in repair work.
- Orders parts and supplies as appropriate and within budget allocations
- Assess budget needs from year to year.
- Vendor Service Relations
- Collaborates with vendors on project rollouts
- Deploys for incident management.
- Receiving, staging, and shipping of equipment.
- Receives faulty equipment from stores to be repaired.
- Packages and ships new or repaired equipment to stores to replace faulty equipment or for equipment replenishment.
- Assists with checking and distribution of received package shipments, when assigned. Stages new equipment for use in Home Office and stores (removes packaging, installs software and specific information to meet specifications, prepares for shipping, etc.).
- Make decisions regarding the removal of equipment no longer in use.
- Onsite Installation, Equipment Assessment and Repair
- Onsite installs and maintains servers and desktops, pos peripherals, and network equipment at new store locations and installation/troubleshoots of computer and networking systems equipment.
- Moves and reorganizes equipment for store renovation needs.
- Onsite deployment for replacement of equipment in the event of critical hardware failure.
- High School Degree, Computer Certification in Computer Operations, Technical Repairs, Hardware and Software installation and maintaining, or equivalent work experience.
- Comp TIA A+
- Comp TIA Server +
- Any Brand Certifications- HP, Dell, Lenovo, Xerox
- CWTS Specialist
- With practical application experience
