Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.Tasks and Qualifications:What You Will do in This Role:The Solution Design Project Engineer on the Key Accounts team is responsible for overseeing the engineering efforts and estimation of large and complex MHE solution. This team member manages the definition of solution requirements, supports customer layout reviews, generates/directs the development of solution design, supports concepting efforts and generates system cost estimations using department tools/processes. This role will lead, schedule, plan and manage all the technical activities with attention to project accuracy and quality.Solution Design Project Engineer Responsibilities:Review requirements from customer/sales team and closely collaborate with relevant internal/external stakeholder to generate executable system conceptsLead team members, create 3D models and generate proposal drawings to achieve concept freeze.Produce material lists and project scope of work summaries.Submit quote request and validate vendor quotes in conjunction with procurement teamsApply standard subsystems, designs and modules to solutions where appropriateIdentify relevant project risks and assist with generation of mitigation strategiesEstablish priorities, and promote effective interaction between departmentsLead technical review and pricing reviewsCreate cost breakouts and bridging as requiredResponsible for all project engineering efforts for assigned projectsCapable of recognizing and understanding when to apply standard subsystems and modulesAble to apply value engineering principals to optimize the effectiveness of the system where possibleAccountable for technical, cost, and contracting aspects of projects and serves as a key contact for intra-company departments and vendorsThoroughly understand customer RFPs, specifications and requirementsEnsure compliance of SD project processWhat We are Looking For:5+ Years Industry ExperienceMechatronic EngineeringSystems EngineeringApplication EngineeringIndustrial EngineeringBulk Handling (Preferred)Case Conveyor (Preferred)PLC Control SystemsWMS/WCS SoftwareLinear SortationCrossbelt SortationASRS & Unit LoadStructural ExperiencePallet ConveyorMonorailSimulationAutostore
