Our collaboration extends across a diverse array of programs and platforms, including major military prime contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon.POSITION SUMMARY:Ensure consistent quality of production by supporting activities with the Business Management System (BMS). Ensure implementation of customer contractual requirements through timely contract review and configuration management processes. Quickly and effectively act when potential non-conformances are found by supporting material review board huddles and facilitating corrective action process. Lead continuous improvement activities. Gather data and perform analysis to review for product defect trends and/or process metrics. Maintain up to date with new and emerging technologies and methods that relate to Quality Assurance.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews customer requirements and ensures that they are met
- Participates and leads closed-loop root cause and corrective action activities
- Dispositions non-conforming material
- Identify and initiate continuous improvement opportunities
- Assemble and review end-item data packages before customer submittal
- Perform contract reviews, purchase order reviews, planning reviews and supplier data to ensure that quality requirements are captured and flowed down
- Contribute to a team environment, be flexible, and volunteer support to meet team goals
- Collaborate with program management, engineering, purchasing, production control, operations, and inspection
- Monitor Program Quality performance and facilitate process improvement projects to maintain an acceptable
- Participate in Change Control Board (CCB) reviews
- Minimum 5 years of quality assurance experience in the aerospace and defense industry
- Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years related experience.
- MUST have general understanding of GD&T and able to interpret engineering drawings.
- Ability to interpret and understand customer and industry specifications, i.e., ISO, ASME, MIL STD, MS, etc.
- Excellent communications skills – both verbal and technical writing.
- Provide project leadership for process improvement initiatives.
- Understanding of configuration management principles and practices.
- Experience with Quality Engineering tools, i.e., Cause Map, Fish Bone analysis, PFMEA, Six Sigma, SPC, etc.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Prior background that includes machining, assembly, and inspection desirable.
- Attention to details and be a self starter.

- MS Office proficient.
- Green belt trained a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP a plus.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
