Job Title: Hand Therapist / Certified Hand TherapistLocation: Boise, IDRehabAuthority is a leading provider of outpatient physical and occupational therapy services, dedicated to offering top-notch care to our patients. We pride ourselves on our comprehensive and personalized approach to patient care.We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hand Therapist to join our team in Boise, ID. The ideal candidate will be either an Occupational Therapist (OT) or a Physical Therapist (PT) with certification in hand therapy. However, certification is not required. You will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing treatment programs for patients with upper extremity injuries and conditions.Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with hand and upper extremity conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to address patient needs.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and injury prevention.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.
Qualifications:
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of Idaho.
  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) Preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of hand and upper extremity rehabilitation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
