- Installs proper oils and coolants.
- Adjusts machines accordingly for quality and quantity.
- Removes swarfs and old coolants from machine and properly disposes of them.
- Changes machine oils, coolant and filters.
- Cleans machine and coolant tanks when necessary.
- Maintains tooling to perform at maximum efficiency.
- Maintains proper quality and quantities of manufactured materials.
- Operate multiple slicing machines at a time.
- Review Operation Sheet to assure all previous operations have been satisfactorily completed.
- Setup and operate the equipment in a safe and productive manner.
- Maintain part and identification during processing.
- Verify completed operations match blue prints
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma/GED
- Able to read blueprints
- GD&T Training & Understanding
- Able to use and understand standard and metric measuring systems.
- Use of standard measuring tools.
- Able to work individually and in a team environment.
- Statistical Process Control (SPC) Experience beneficial.
- May be exposed to industrial oils, toner, coolants, solvents, lubricants, adhesive and other chemicals. NOTE: All safety precautions will be used.
- Plant wide climate control and air conditioning
- Could work in areas with excessive noise. NOTE: Ear protection available.
- Could require intermittent and long periods of sitting and/or standing.
- Required to do repetitive work.
- Periodic lifting of materials not to exceed 50 pounds.
