Job Summary
Plant Design I/O is seeking an AutoCAD Plant 3D Administrator to develop, maintain, and support US client design projects.Responsibilities
  • Create and manage US based AutoCAD Plant 3D Plant3D projects.
  • Oversee technical aspects of installation, maintenance, and use of Autodesk design applications
  • Provide technical support to project personnel regarding CAD applications.
  • Participate in technical workshops and training.
  • Participate in the development of standard practices and procedures utilized in customer support and design development
  • Configuration and property management for projects located in local network drives and ACC.
  • Create and maintain AutoCAD Plant 3D catalog components and specifications.
  • Administration of Autodesk Support files (Templates, Profiles, LSP, Pallets, etc)
  • Create and manage AutoCAD Plant 3D reports to meet the needs of the project team.
  • Organize of legacy data to meet the needs of future projects
  • Drafting of Standard Details for corporate standards and procedures.
  • Create and maintain custom components using AutoCAD Blocks and/or custom Python scripts
Qualifications (Required)
  • Minimum 5 years previous design experience
  • General ability to read engineering drawings, including but not limited to PFD, P&IDs, General Arrangements, Piping Isometrics, etc.
  • General knowledge and ability to understand Piping Materials, codes, etc.
  • Familiarity with industry standards standards: ASME, API, MSS, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and the ability to seamlessly interact with company Engineering & Design personnel.
  • Quick learner with ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft office programs and other discipline-specific computer programs.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 15% to client sites.
Qualifications (Desired)
  • Technical or Associate Degree from an accredited technical institution or college in engineering design areas of Mechanical.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk BIM 360 and Construction Cloud
  • Experience with .NET programming
  • C# Preferred
  • Experience with SQL Server and basic proficiency in writing SQL Statements
