What you will do:
Create full-scale 3D models using SolidWorks of HVAC components and assemblies
Understand project requirements from Engineering and Marketing, plan out your project and the parts you need to design and execute your own mini-design project
Create a summary of the project/s worked on at the end of the summer and present it to management
Minimum Qualifications:
Sophomore or Junior enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in Product/Industrial Design or 1st year student enrolled in an associate degree program in Mechanical Design/Engineering CAD
Minimum of 1 year in Mechanical Design schooling by May 2026
Exposure to SolidWorks
Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to using Excel formulas or programming (VBA)
Reside within a 300-mile radius of our Plymouth, MN office
The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $24/hr-$27/hr. This represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will be dependent on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
