Our client is currently seeking Enterprise Application Architect for a contract role with our client, on-site in Washington, DC.OverviewThis on-site role involves leading enterprise application architecture efforts, ensuring seamless system integration, and driving cloud-native application strategies. A Public Trust clearance is required.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement enterprise application architecture aligned with business and IT objectivesManage the full application lifecycle from concept through deployment and supportIntegrate applications across platforms using APIs, microservices, and cloud technologiesLead development of cloud-native or hybrid solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google CloudOptimize application performance for scalability, security, and high availabilitySupport the migration of applications to cloud infrastructureDocument architecture, technical specifications, process flows, and integration patternsCollaborate with and mentor cross-functional technical teamsCommunicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersRequirementsBachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience7+ years in application architecture, with at least 3-5 years in enterprise architectureExperience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologiesExpertise in application integration using APIs and microservicesProficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudStrong knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)Familiarity with enterprise systems like Salesforce, SAP, or OracleUnderstanding of secure coding practices and application securityExperience integrating SQL and NoSQL databasesAbility to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutionsProven leadership and team mentoring experienceDesirable:Experience with hybrid cloud architecturesFamiliarity with container orchestration toolsStrong grasp of DevOps principles in enterprise settingsExposure to machine learning and AI integrationsRelevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, CISSP)We thank all applicants for their interest.
