Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity? * Participate in global QIS product development across different asset classes with Equity as the main focus for various client groups.
  • Develop products to further build the product shelf based on client situations across asset classes in partnership with structurers across the globe
  • Participate actively in Business Development discussions around Product Strategy, Client Strategy and relevant Regulatory Framework
  • Ensure smooth execution of new QIS transactions by working closely on transaction related documentation and processes.
Product Development: * Develop quantitative investment strategies and indices to best service clients.
  • Initiate ideas that cover themes around Equity Derivatives and Cross-Asset Investing Universe
  • Work on back-testing and analysis around product ideas
  • Ensure delivery of the final product in the relevant format – documented strategy, index or fund
  • Work closely with the relevant trading teams during the product design phase, to ensure that product can be executed and risk-managed effectively under RBC’s risk framework
  • Develop relevant marketing materials around new products
  • Liaise with external Index providers for delivery of indices where relevant
  • Business Development:
  • Provide inputs to management around Product Strategy by keeping track of competitor landscape and client feedback.
  • Take part in client situations and client conversations with sales
  • Support discussions around Regulatory Framework and Relevant Legal/Compliance controls to minimise the related risks
  • Origination / Execution:
  • Work closely with sales across the CM platform to help originate new QIS transactions
  • Provide relevant follow-ups to sales to keep up the client conversations
  • Ensure delivery of relevant documentation and analysis for execution of transactions
